YOUTH WORK IRELAND WEEK

Saturday April 20th to Sunday April 28th

"Working towards a brighter future for young people"

 

Youth Work Ireland (YWI) will be holding their annual week of events in recognition and celebration of the hard work carried out through our projects and centres. From Monday 22nd April Youth Work Ireland will open their doors to invite the local community see firsthand our services for young people.

Everyone is encouraged to visit their local project or centre and avail of the services and facilities. During this uncertain economic climate your support is greatly needed to sustain our work and prevent the loss of vital supports for young people.

In support of YWI staff, young people and volunteers will be attending a Political Briefing at Dail Eireann on Tuesday 23rd of April to highlight the importance of youth work and its role in affecting change in young people's lives.

In addition to events happening during this week the Phoenix Youth Centre will exhibiting a Youth Information stand as part of St. Nathy's College, Ballaghaderreen, 'Health and Wellbeing Day' on Thursday April 18th. All young people are encouraged to visit the stand and avail of the wide range of information available. Youth Information Officers will be on hand to answer any queries you my have.
